Panoramic Views on Steep Terrain

3,400 sf | 3 floors, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths

This project was our intro into contemporary design and construction. While the site’s steep hillside terrain posed tough challenges, it allowed us to create one of our first sets of panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay — and our first home to exceed Marin County’s green building standards.

We self-performed board-formed exposed concrete, incorporated sophisticated structural solutions to create large window openings, and installed the floating staircase with treads milled from solid oak.
